Transparency is key. Here is exactly how the partnership works.
Is there a minimum contract term?
Yes, all plans have a 12-month minimum term. Because we build your website with no upfront cost (a value of £5k–£10k), this term allows us to amortise the development cost over the year. After 12 months, the contract rolls over to a monthly rolling agreement which you can cancel with 30 days’ notice.
Who owns the website and content?
You own your content completely. All text, images and customer data belong to you.
We retain ownership of our underlying platform and theme. If you decide to leave after 12 months, we provide you with a full XML export of your content, or you can pay a buy-out fee to take the full code base with you.
What is Studio Time?
Studio Time is your monthly allowance of hands-on work from us. You can use it for content updates, new pages, design tweaks or technical improvements – instead of managing a to-do list yourself.
It does not cover large structural redesigns or custom app development, which are quoted separately.
How fast is the turnaround time?
For typical updates, most changes are completed within one business day, depending on scope. For the initial website build, we typically go from “signed agreement” to “live website” in around 2 weeks, provided we have your inputs ready.
Do I need to pay for hosting separately?
No. Your monthly fee includes everything: premium green hosting, SSL certificates, security, backups and our managed platform. You only need to pay for your domain name renewal (e.g. yourcompany.com), which is usually around £10 per year.
